Weekly Update

Hello Everyone,

Thanksgiving Feast for K and 5th	November 19th
Thanksgiving Feast for 3rd and 4th	November 20th
Thanksgiving Feast for 1st and 2nd	November 21st

Here's a look our learning this week:

In reading, we will begin our new unit on text features. We will be exploring non-fiction texts and learning how text features can help us understand more about what we're reading.

In writing, we will be finishing up our animal writing. Once these are finished, we will typing our writing and turning it into a non-fiction book complete with text features.

We will continue to work with verbs this week during grammar. Our spelling words will focus on irregular past tense verbs. We will also learn about different verb tenses.
