In reading, we will be learning how authors use cause & effect in their writing. There are causes and effects happening all day long in the world around us. We will be exploring several examples in various texts we will read this week.

We will work on locating these on a map. The rivers third graders need to identify are the Mississippi, Ohio, Rio Grande, Colorado, Hudson, and St. Lawrence.
